listen my artist pals… i’m here for all of us who struggle to make the final product. for you writers who are told “write a book!!” when all they’ve got is a concept. for musicians who wrote 30 seconds of a song but haven’t gotten to the chorus. for sketches that will never be more than a sketch no matter how many people tell you to make a comic out of it.
art takes work and time and a metric fuckton of energy. please don’t feel bad that you don’t have all three of those to chase every idea down the rabbit hole. don’t feel bad if you’ve not even chased one. it’s better to have 90 false starts than to never try to run. i believe in us. we’ll choose the right thing. and we’ll get it done.
